These are press cuttings, notices, and articles - online and otherwise - which we're still accruing from the start of the Cleveland Pools Trust's campaign in 2004. Recent articles start mostly four rows down, in date order working backwards down the page......
A weekly walking tour to the Cleveland Pools offers a unique insight into the history of the Pools. The circular route which starts at Abbey Green at 11am every Tuesday - returning in just under two hours - is being supported by Bath Tourism Plus.
If you would like to bring your visiting friends, or family, on this walking tour, please contact the Bath Visitor Centre direct to purchase a ticket. It won't break the bank at £8 per head, and all proceeds go directly to the Cleveland Pools Trust. The tours are on their website, and the Bath App, under Attractions>>Historic Sites.
Our guide is trustee Sally Helvey who already runs her own private tours - "BATHwithSally/City.Secrets" - so do reward her with a 'Like' on her own Facebook page. She would love that !
Update: Sally is now taking her tours into retirement homes and clubs where people would otherwise find it difficult to come to site. See the album marked 'TALKS' for more details.
We always welcome new volunteers who have a few hours to spare to help us with weeding at the Pools, canvassing local people, helping us run an event, or simply spreading awareness to everyone they know! The more people who hear about us the more likely we are going to get the funding we need to re-open the Pools for the local community and beyond. Please look at our Volunteers page for more details.
